Project Planning
We define the underwater task, expected outcome and project requirements before a diving contractor is selected.
ODRM Services
ODRM helps organizations plan and manage occupational diving projects from the initial concept through completion.
What We Do
Each service addresses a critical phase of the diving project lifecycle. Together, they form a complete framework for managing risk from concept to completion.
We define the underwater task, expected outcome and project requirements before a diving contractor is selected.
We identify worksite hazards and recommend controls to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
We assess the diving contractor's training, experience, equipment and ability to complete the work safely.
We independently review the contractor's dive plan to confirm it addresses the actual task, site conditions and identified hazards.
When required, ODRM monitors the project to confirm that the approved plan and agreed safety controls are being followed.
Following completion, we review the operation and provide a final report identifying outcomes, concerns and recommendations for future work.
The ODRM Difference
ODRM has nothing to sell and nothing to hide. Our only product is independent guidance grounded in more than fifty years of military and commercial diving experience.
We serve regulators, project owners, prime contractors, and safety professionals who need clear, authoritative understanding of the hazards present in occupational diving work.
ODRM provides the independent diving expertise needed to protect people, projects and organizations.
Decisions made before a diver enters the water determine whether that diver comes home. We exist to make sure those decisions are grounded in real experience and honest risk assessment.
